Match Support Specialist

Job Title: Match Support Specialist
Report to: Program Director
Full Time Position: Monday through Friday, occasional weekend work required.

JOB OVERVIEW & PURPOSE

The Match Support Specialist will support our volunteers, children, and their parents/guardians to ensure a safe and supportive mentoring relationship that meets the goals of each child. They will assist in creation and facilitation of events and trainings for the matches, volunteers and families. A typical day as a Match Support Specialist includes telephone conversations, email correspondence, communicating and coaching volunteers and parent/guardians in support of the one-to-one mentoring relationship.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, connector, and be organized. The candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and interest in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, have experience working with a diverse population, have demonstrated success in prioritizing and meeting deadlines, and be self-initiated.
